Mazzucchelli 1849 is a family owned company founded 170 years ago and is world renowned for innovating the finest quality acetate material for premier eyewear makers. Mazzucchelli artisans use a time honored, detailed process that can take up to sixty days, to develop unique colors and patterns known for their rich luster and vibrant color. Acetate is a renewable, naturally hypoallergenic material derived from plant fibers that is lightweight and of high tensile strength for durability.
